KEMPEROL® 1K AQUA

KEMPEROL® 1K AQUA is a cost-effective, hybrid elastomeric roof maintenance coating that can help extend the life expectancy of an existing roof system. This durable cold-liquid applied roofing resin comes in a highly reflective white finish with an SRI of 110.

APPLICATION: KEMPEROL® 1K AQUA is a single component water-based coating that can be easily spray, brush or roller applied. The water-based nature of the coating makes the maintenance of tools and equipment simple, as it can be cleaned with soapy water, avoiding harsh solvent-based chemicals. The coating may be used over: Metal roofs, single-ply membranes, modified bitumen systems, as well as other approved surfaces. 

PONDING WATER RESISTANCE: Ponding water can accumulate on the surface of the roof due to inadequate drainage or improper pitch. The standing water can be the main culprit of leaks and infiltration on aged roofs and cause deterioration of some roof coatings. KEMPEROL® 1K AQUA’s innovative hybrid chemistry helps withstand water exposure for extended periods of time. The coating creates a seamless and monolithic layer of protection over an existing roof, making it an ideal solution for prolonging its life, while also preventing unnecessary landfill disposal. 

OPTIONAL REINFORCEMENT: Reinforcing liquid-applied resin with fleece is a longstanding staple of Kemper’s waterproofing and roofing systems. While KEMPEROL® 1K AQUA can be used as an unreinforced coating, and can also be combined with KEMPEROL® 90 Polyester fleece to create an even stronger seal. 

KEMPEROL® 1K AQUA MB BASE is a part of a cost-effective roof maintenance coating system that can be sprayed or roller applied to help extend the life expectancy of an existing roof system. The base coat may be used over existing modified bitumen (smooth and granular) membranes.

KEMPERTEC® 1K AQUA RI PRIMER is a high-quality rust inhibitive primer for all types of metal surfaces, including iron and steel, where corrosion is a problem. 
 
KEMPERTEC® 1K AQUA SP PRIMER is a single-component, low-odor, low-solvent, low VOC primer for Single-Ply membranes and Kynar® coated roofs.
